About me

Csaba Horváth (born in 1993, in Cluj-Napoca, Romania) is a historian who specializes in modern history, having a particular interest in the study of the recruiting methods that were used in the Habsburg army during the French and Napoleonic Wars. He has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in History (2015) and a Master of Arts (MA) in Cultural Heritage (2017) from the Babeș-Bolyai University in his hometown. Currently, he is in his third year of PhD studies at the History, Civilization, Culture Doctoral School, at the above-mentioned university.
He has authored one bibliography in Hungarian as well as several book reviews, interviews and studies in both Hungarian and Romanian. Besides this, since 2015, he has participated in a total number of fourteen conferences, including the international conference The Golden Age of En’Light’ened Troops and Small War/ Zlatno doba lakih postrojbi i mali rat, organized by the Croatian Institute of History on April 15, 2019.
